DESCRIPTION:
The ACRA AMC-1600 Vertical Machining Center Is An Accurate And Reliable Machine Designed For 3 And 4 Axis Prototype, Mold, Or Production Use. It Incorporates Integrated Box Ways On All Three Axes With Turcite-B For Lasting Precision. Ballscrews Are Double Nut, Anchored And Force Lubricated At Both Ends, Pre-Tensioned And Laser Aligned. Smart Casting Design Of Ribbed Meehanite With Minimal Operator "Lean-In" To Load & Offload. No Table Overhang; Accuracies Meet Or Exceed JIS With Full Table Load.

The Spindle Uses Class-7 Angular Contact Bearings And Is Fully Enclosed In Stainless Steel. It Is Housed In A Heavily Ribbed And Oversized Headstock CAsting, Virtually Eliminating Thermal Growth And Vibration. Rigid Tap Is Standard. The Tool Changer Is A Carousel Type, Simple And Dependable. This Machine Is Available With Mitsubishi Or Optional FANUC Control: Always With Same Source Matched AC Digital Motors And Drives To Ensure The Best Reliability And Performance. Choice Of Spindle RPM, ATC Swing Arm Or Carousel, Coolant Throught The Spindle, ZF Gear System, Optical Scales, CNC Rotary Table Available.
