The ACRA MT-42 Series CNC Precision Lathe Is A Superior 30° Slant Bed, 1 5/8" Bar CNC Turning Center, With A Proven Track Record In Europe And Asia. It Is Fast And Precise, And Its Standards Meet Or Exceed JIS To Deliver Lasting Quality And Productivity.

The Construction Of This Machine Results In Increased Cutter Life, Superior Finishes, And Extremely Accurate Parts. The Heavy Ribbed Meehanite Casting Is Designed To Withstand Shock And Torque. Integral Box Ways Are Hardened To A Minimum Of 56° HRC To At Least 0.050", And Turcite-B Mated Surfaces.

The World Class Spindle Cartridge Utilizes C-7 Bearings And Its Special Housing Virtually Eliminates Vibration And Thermal Distortion, Smooth And Quiet At Up To 5,000 RPM. The Quick And Ruged Turret Is A Reliable Bi-Directional Hydraulic Type With Curvic Coupling.
